Weatherman predict fresh rains and snow from Friday
According to MET office Srinagar a fresh western disturbance is going to hit kashmir valley on Friday and it is likely to result in rains and snow. Weatherman further said that there would be rains and snow on Friday and Saturday in Kashmir valley .
Although weather has improved and temperature has also been quite fair for people to enjoy the weather but water shortage is looming in the valley as dry conditions have affected many water-supply schemes in rural areas
River jehlum is running very low and dry weather is persistent in Kashmir valley from the last five months.though there have been some spells of rain and snow but there is acute water shortage in Kashmir now.
