Search operation in Logan rumor, mongers will be dealt under law:Police
Authorities on Saturday evening refuted reports of a cordon and search operation in Tikipora village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
A senior police official quoted by an English daily said that the person who spread the rumour on social media will be identified, booked and dealt under law.
“No such operation has been launched in any village of Lolab valley. Internet service is also not barred as is being projected on social media and a section of press,” the officer said.
Earlier, reports said that Internet service was blocked in Baramulla district.
