Strike restrictions, cripple life in Srinagar

Strike call given by JRL against the civilian killings in shopian by army and restrictions imposed in many parts of Srinagar city, crippled life here on Sunday morning with few private vehicles plying in civil lines area.
Army killed two young boys and left another critical on saturday after a small group of boys were reportedly pelting stones on their vehicles. Coming under severe attack from the opposition Mehbooba Mufti talked to defense minister and ordered magisterial probe with police filing FIR against army.
After the reports of protests from many south kashmir areas on Saturday evening government suspended Internet services in entire south kashmir and has directed the cellular companies to lower the speed of Internet in the rest of the valley. No rail service is avaliable on Sunday for the people as the northern railways have suspended rail service in entire Kashmir valley as a precautionry measure.
