Div Com directs for ensuring smooth traffic movement in city
SRINAGAR, JANUARY 11: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Baseer Ahmad Khan today called for continuing concerted efforts from different agencies for ensuring smooth traffic movement in Srinagar.
The Div Com was chairing a meeting to review the traffic scenario in the city. The meeting was attended by Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Traffic Advisor, RTO Kashmir and other officials.
He stressed the need to make drivers follow the rules and regulations, which will have a monumental impact on the overall traffic scenario. He appreciated the steps taken in this regard over the last few months.
The Div Com said that effort should be to provide maximum relief to commuters. He gave directions with regards to improving car parking facilities and taking action against traffic violators with a mission mode.
