Massive search operation in shopian launched
In the wee hours of Tuesday army, SOG wing of Jammu and Kashmir police and CRPF started a massive search operation in more than 15 villages of shopian in south kashmir. In order to seal all the exit points of these villages under seige, additional troops were being deployed in outer wing of the besieged area.
A senior police officer said that the search operation was launched after intelligence inputs that many militants were spotted in this hilly belt of shopian district in South kashmir. Latest reports said tat house to house Searches were going on till reports last reached here.
