Special Teacher Training prog for Wakf schools held at IASE

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 27; A Special Teacher Training programme for Wakf Schools was held here today at Institute of Advanced Studies in Education (IASE).

The programme is designed to help equip teachers with task techniques and trends in class-room processes and holistic child development.

As many as 50 teachers drawn from higher secondary, high, middle and primary schools of J&K Wakf Board are participating in the programme.

In her inaugural presentation, Professor Parveen Pandit, Principal, IASE dwelt at length on the postulations and paradigms of curriculum development and transaction consistent with the goals of education.

Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary, J&K Wakf Board gave on outline of the reform process initiated for Wakf Institutions.

The Education Officer, Wakf Board, Peerzada Mohammad Aslmiaq spoke of the experiences of teachers in face of emerging challenges, in the context of IT revolution in particular

The participating School Heads and teachers raised a number of questions and issues.
