Coaching centers in Anantnag without registration, violating government norms!

Anantnag,   The tuition centers in Anantnag district witnessed mushroom growth in the past couple of years and maximum tuition centers are functioning illegally in district. These tuition centers face immense criticism due to illegal profiteering, lack of discipline, weak infrastructure and odd timings, an official said while talking to Kashmir News Bureau pleading anonymity.
Sources from different areas in Anantnag told to Kashmir News Bureau that the coaching centers that are running in Tehsils and other adjoining areas violating government norms and are running without registration.
At places like  Dooru, Kokernag, Shangas areas  maximum coaching centers  are also running without registration and these coaching centers didn’t comply with the conditions laid down in J&K Regulation of Private Tuition Rules of 2010.
In Shangas, Achabal area of Anantnag district one out of ten coaching center is registered with the education Department and follow the rules J&K Regulation of Private Tuition Rules of 2010. These tuition centers also lack basic facilities.
Locals informed Kashmir News Bureau that the tuition centers have resorted to illegal profiteering since from years and even under the patronage of administration and also lacks discipline. In a single classroom which has intake capacity of 20 students they forcefully accommodate triple number while as also force students to attend classes from early in the morning in this winter which is injustice.
Pertinently, the High Court had also ordered the closure of all unregistered coaching centers in the valley and constituted a panel headed by Division Commissioner.
The committee, framed under rules of Jammu and Kashmir Regulation of Private Tuition Centers 2010, was formed following a PIL that sought court’s intervention in the regulation of private coaching classes. The petitioner had, reportedly, asked the court to ensure that none of the coaching centers keep odd timings.
Meanwhile, when contacted to Gh Rasool Shah Chief Education Officer Anantnag he said that they already made committees headed by additional DC Anantnag and added that they were inspecting all these coaching centers in Anantnag district. 
“Recently we seized 4 unregistered coaching centers in Mattan area of Anantnag. Make sure we will send teams also to these areas they will inspect these coaching centers and anyone if found guilty necessary action will be taken, he added.
