Protests on as two bodies recovered

Police said that they have recovered two bodies of two slain militants at Batmalun Wanipora village of shopian in south kashmir on Tuesday morning. The encounter started on Monday evening when 42 RR and SOG of J&K Police launched an operation on the inputs about the presence of militants. Protests rocked even when the gunfight was going on and also on Tuesday morning. Fearing protests and violence northern railway authorities have suspended rail service in entire south kashmir sector. However rail service will resume for Srinagar to Baramullah in North kashmir.
The police has identified one slain militant as Tanveer Ahmad Bhat a local from the same village, while another they say is a pakistani militant. More details are awaited as protest were going on in the area with police using tear smoke shells.
