Army launches massive search operation in Tral forests
Army paramilitary forces and SOG group J&K police have launched a massive search operation in a cluster of villages near Handora forests after a pakistani militant belonging to Jaishe was killed when an IED went off accidentally in a hideout in the same area on Saturday morning. Police received credible inputs that many militants were hiding in the same belt and in the incident some militants were injured in the IED blast.
Police identified the pakistani militant as Umar Bhai and Sai that search operation will continue till they bust the hideouts of militants in the Handora belt of Tral area in South Kashmir. SSP Avantipora Zahid Malik told VOV that search operations were going on in Sere Wagad and other areas of Tral and disclosed that this operation will continue till Monday.
