Police arrest lot of youth in Pulwama on stone pelting charges
District police of Pulwaam have prepared alist of stone pelting youth and arrested most of them during night raids, locals said. The parents of the arrested youth told VOV that arrest of youth in Pulwama has become an industry for police and labeled allegations of corruption against them to get their wards released. “They arrested my innocent son and now they are message to me to come with money for his release” one of the parents told VOV from Dangarpora locality of Pulwama. When VOV contacted senior police officer of Pulwama about the allegations he said that they arrest only those youth about whom they have complete proof. He said that they were arresting only those youth about whom they have video proof.
