Life returned to normal in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama on Thursday where people observed a shutdown for two consecutive days to mourn the killings of three militants, including a Divisional Commander of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), in a gunfight.

While an army soldier was also killed, a civilian suffered bullet injuries after people pelted stones on the forces who were engaged in the gunfight.

One of the slain militants identified as Talha Rasheed, is nephew of Moulana Masood Azhar, the chief of Jaish-e-Muhammad.
