Militant hideout busted in Ganderbal,arms and ammunition recovered

Ganderbal:

On specific information Ganderbal police and 24 RR unit of Army launched a combing operation in Najwan forests of District Ganderbal where they busted a militant hideout and recovered arms and ammunition.However, no arrests were made. During a press briefing SSP Ganderbal, Fayaz Ahmed Lone said that the hide out was used by militants affiliated with outfit Lashker-e-Tioba (LET).He said that this forest have approach tracks to District Bandipora and Tral in South Kashmir and this is easy approach to enter Srinagar city . Besides food commodities and blankets a UBGL  along with 19 grenades,3 hand grenades an AK 47 magazine,one 51 mm mortar shell  and a wireless set was recovered from the hideout.SSP said that the operations will continue against militant outfit (LeT) till the elimination of last militant.
