Officer being probed for disrespecting national anthem
Assistant commissioner revenue in Kishtiwar district, M S Khan will have to face investigation after some right wing connected teachers of a school complained against him and also managed protests by students to magnify the issue.
Reports said that accused officer was told to go for surprise check to half a dozen schools and submit report on the same day.when he entered into one of the schools in Kishtiwar some teachers said that he disrespected national anthem and went to his job of inspection as anthem was being played.
It was not immediately known whether the official has been summoned for investigation by district authorities.
