Two militants and two Air Force men killed in encounter at Hajin

Army on Wednesday said that two jawans (Garud wing) from Air force part of operation were killed at Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
“In the intense operation this morning in Hajin, Bandipur, two militants were killed. Two Air Force personnel (Garud wing) were martyred in the action”, army’s Srinagar based defence spokesman Col Rajesh Kalia in a statement said.
The spokesman said that the Air force men were operating with the Army for operational experience and training.
“The Chinar Corps Commander and all ranks salute the slain jawans and offer condolences to theie bereaved families”, the spokesman added.
