Police use batons tearsmoke to stem Batamaloo women protest
Police used batons and teargas shells to chase away women protestors who were trying to come on main road from interiors of Batamaloo on monday in protest against the braid chopping incident in thier locality on Sunday.
Reports said that large number of women from different localities of Batamaloo took to streets raising anti government and anti police salogens for thier failure to curb the menace of braid chopping in Srinagar city.
Reports said that police used excessive force against the protesting women and many of them received minor injuries.
