Police use force detain scores of protesting Batamaloo traders
Police used batons to chase away protesting Batamaloo bus stand traders, transporters and street vendors on Wednesday in Lal Chowk as they were trying to meet chief minister Mehbooba Mufti at civil secretariat.
Police used force to disperse them and arrested scores of them at different places in lal Chowk as they were trying to reassemble. talking to media the affected persons by shifting of Batamaloo stand said that government can make a parallel road via Tatto ground to ease traffic congestion and save hundreds of families from starvation.the shifting of Batamaloo stand had adversely affected them.
