Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh on Monday assured “all possible help” in the case of Kamran Yousuf, a photojournalist, who has been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

A delegation of Kashmir Young Journalists Association (KYJA) raised the issue of Kamran’s arrest with Home Minister soon after his press conference in Srinagar. They said that Rajnath assured “all possible help”.

“Rajnath also directed MoS in PMO Jitender Singh and Deputy CM Nirmal Singh to look into the matter,” sources said.

Kamran was associated with Kashmir’s premier newspaper Greater Kashmir and also worked as a stringer with Chandigarh based Gulistan TV.
