Gunfight erupts in Kundalwan forest area at Gurez

A gunfight erupted between suspected militants and army in Gurez sector of Bandipora district in northern part of Kashmir, on Thursday.
Army sources said after noticing suspicious movement at Kundalwan forest area of Gurez, the Army launched a search operation on Wednesday.
This morning, during the search operation, Army intercepted a group of militants triggering a gunfight, they said.
The gunfight was underway when reports last came in.
