Clashes erupt in Pulwama after Ayoub Lalhari laid to rest

Clashes erupted between civilian protesters and forces in Kakapora area of Pulwama district in southern part of Kashmir on Thursday after Ayoub Lelhari, a local LeT militant, was laid to rest, reports said.

They said that a protester sustained injuries during clashes after he was with a teargas shell near Samboora bridge.

The injured was shifted to SDH Pampore for treatment. The clashes were going on around Samboora bride and Kakapora area.

The clashes erupt amid heavy deployment of Police and CRPF in the area.

Pertinently, LeT Commander Ayoub Lelhari, of Lelhar Pulwama was killed yesterday during a brief gunfight at Banderpora village in Pulwama district.
