Schools, colleges to remain closed tomorrow in Kashmir:Administration
Authorities have ordered closure of all colleges and schools in Kashmir valley tomorrow to prevent protests and rallies against the killing of top LeT commander Abu Dujana in an encounter with forces earlier today in Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
“All the colleges and schools of Kashmir valley are hereby closed for today on 02-08-2017 as a precautionary measure,” read an order, issued by Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Baseer Ahmed Khan.
Dujana and his aide Tariq Lelhari were killed in a gunfight with forces in Hakripora village earlier today.
A civilian Showkat Ahmad was killed after forces opened fire to disperse protesters marching towards the gunfight site.
