After massive clashes at Zainapora, police register case and arrest driver
Srinagar: Police on Thursday registered a case FIR against No 41/2017 under sections 279, 304 A in Police Station Zainapora in south Kashmir’s Shopian district against the troopers of 55 RR for crushing a nine year old girl to death, sources said.After registering the case police has arrested the accused driver.
Zeeshan Farooq, a resident of Zainapora was killed after hit by a Casper vehicle at nearby Aglar village triggering massive clashes.
Meanwhile, 14 policemen were injured during clashes, police sources said.
At least 37 including 12 policemen were injured during clashes.
They include 15 injured protesters with pellets.
