Police denies Bijbhehara attack,says it was stray bullet.
Police on Saturday claimed that no attack took place on the force’s camp in Bijbehara in southern Kashmir’s Islamabad district.
“It was a stray bullet fired from somewhere,” police said adding “It was not an attack on the camp.”
As reported earlier, firing was heard near the SICOP forces camp in Bijbehara.
Reports said that militants fired some shots towards the camp which was retaliated causing panic in the area.
