Mian Altaf Ahmed nominated Sajada Nasheen on 122nd urs at Babanagri.

National Conference leader and MLA Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmed has been nominted as Sajada Nisheen of Hazrat Baba Nizam-ud-Din Kiyanvi (RA),whose two-day annual Urs was celebrated with enthusiasm and gaiety and concluded with special joint prayers at Wangath Kangan, also known as Babanagri,Devotees prayed for peace, prosperity ,unity and brotherhood and communal harmony of State.

Thousands of devotees thronged Babanagri to attend 122nd Urs of Hazrat Baba Nizam-ud-Din Kiyanvi (RA).The two day Urs celebrated with great enthusiasm and gaiety was concluded with special and joint prayers. The devotees from within and outside state reached Babanagri to participate in the Urs.Besides paying obeisance on the Dargah also took part in the night long Shab-e-Khawani and Darood Azquar gatherings during Urs days. Besides other religious personalities, renowned religious leader Mian Bashir Ahmad addressed the congregation. Speaking on the occasion, Mian Bashir Ahmed threw light on the life and contribution of Hazrat Baba Nizam-ud-Din (RA). Meanwhile National Conference leader and MLA Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmed has been nominted as Sajada Nisheen of Hazrat Baba Nizam-ud-Din Kiyanvi (RA),Devotees expressed satisfaction over the nomination.

 

The devotees who had come from different areas of state particularly Rajouri, Poonch, Kishtwar, Shopian, Doda, and Uri visit the shrine every year. These devotees highlighted the contribution of Hazrat Nizam_Ud-Din Kiyanvi (RA) . These devotees prayed for peace, prosperity, unity, brotherhood and communal harmony in the State.

 

Though the number of devotees as compared to last year was less still devotees thronged in thousands including renowned religious leaders and scholars and participated in the Congregation.Mian Altaf Ahmed who was nominated as Sajada Nisheen was personally supervising the lodging,boarding and other facalities put in place for the devotees during Urs days.
