Shopian shuts over student killing
Shopian shuts down today in protest against the killing of 12th class student Aadil Farooq by army when protests erupted to not allow search and cordon operation of army.
Reports said that army shot Aadil in forehead and he was killed on spot. This is the second killing of a protestor by army as they killed at Tral a young boy moulvi Aaqib by shooting him in forehead.
Reports from Ganowpora Shopian said that huge number of people have started assembling for the funeral of Aadil Farooq. The situation in the area is reported to be tense.
