With no outreach to traders Anantnag shut down continues
With authorities paying no heed to the joint traders unions of Anantnag who want action against police for arson in busy market on Friday afternoon by lobbing teargas shells inside the godowns and shops. traders said that by intense shelling on busy market of Rishi bazaar 33 shops and godowns were destroyed inflicting huge losses to traders.
Traders have decided to go for indefinite shutdown if the authorities will not fix responsibility in this incident. On the call of traders entire Anantnag town remained closed with traffic also off the roads. On Sunday it used to be busy trading day for shopkeepers in Anantnag town but today it wears a deserted look.
