Police action triggers protests at Anantnag
Large number of people including traders and shopkeepers took to streets in main Anantnag town to protest the alleged thrashing of police on thrusday. As they were demanding action against the cops for disrupting their business and harassment by them.the same police came and thrashed them again.
This resulted in heavy stone pelting and clashes as the news of alleged police thrashing spread in entire town
Many traders and other protestors were injured in police action.the clashes were spreading in entire township and police was using teargas areal firing to curb the protests.
