City centre disrupted,police students clash
Police resorted to use of force to disperse students at regal chowk and lal chowk resulting in clashes stone pelting and traffic chaos in entire area.
Police action in Srinagar on Tuesday came close to the heels of government out reach to students assuring them space for greviences with instructions to police not to resort to excessive force while dealing protests.
The clashes between students and police were going in till last reports came in.
