Late outreach by the government to address the student unrest and sitting of authorities on the probe report submitted by the divisional commissioner Kashmir  about the police action inside the degree college of Pulwama are the main reasons for this unrest to spread.

As the darbar opens in Srinagar Monday reports are coming about the student protests from different area of kashmir. The education minister Altaf Bukhari has made a late attempt to address the anger of students by assuring them release of all students and direct access to him to students to talk about security and police excesses.

The probe report is on the table of chief minister Mehbooba Mufti and she should fix the responsibility in the incident of April 15 when police entered inside the college of Pulwama and injured 60 students. This incident triggered the student unrest in entire Kashmir and is only spreading.

If the government wants to see an end to student unrest they must punish the guilty and make possible release of all the students arrested so far.
