Clashes erupt at Qazigund after teenager hit by pellets.

A 14-year-old boy was injured after CRPF personnel fired pellets in Churrat village of Qazigund here in South Kashmir.

Locals of village Churrat said that stones were pelted on a CRPF cavalcade that was passing from village.

“In retaliation CRPF personnel fired pellet and one of the local boy who was sitting in the lawn of their residence  was hit,” a local said.

The boy was identified as Zeshan Farooq Shah S/o Farooq Ahmad Shah.

“He has been hit by pellet in back side and left arm,” a doctor at Qazigund hospital confirmed.

He was later shifted to District hospital Islamabad where he is being treated upon.

Doctors at Islamabad hospital said that his pellets are being removed and he is in stable condition.

Meanwhile his father is a police man and as per sources he is currently posted with state minister Farooq Andrabi.

Soon after the boy was hit by pellets , clashes erupted between locals and CRPF.
Pertinently earlier in last year uprising, three civilians were killed by forces in the same village.
