BJP general secretary Ram Madhav met PDP president and state CM Mehbooba Mufti at her Gupkar residence on Sunday. Sources privy to the meeting told vov that Mehbooba expressed her displeasure over the recent statements of senior BJP leaders to handle Kashmir. Mehbooba made it clear that present hard policy to deal with protests will not help to salvage the situation. She impressed upon Madhav that her government will now go ahead with their own policy of counselling  the stone pelters rather than confronting them. Sources told vov that the crises between the two coalition partners is only deepening.
