News Channels creating anti-Kashmir euphoria
Srinagar: Srinagar MP and former chief minister Farooq Abdullah has blamed Indian channels for spreading hatred against people of Kashmir and making lives of thousands of Kashmiri students vulnerable in the entire country. Farooq described the Kashmir by channels as half-truths or magnifying the ground situation by their reports to portray Kashmir was a war zone. Drawing a comparison Abdullah said that killing of 25 CRPF men at Sukma by Naxalites was not the focus but Kupwara encounter was portrayed as a war. He said that it was unfortunate that the subsequent firing by army on the civilians at the same place was not reported and a sixty year old villager was killed on spot.
