Pulwama shuts after student police clash
Demanding the release of students arrested yesterday, hundreds of students from boys higher secondary school Pulwama , held protests in main Pulwama town, triggering clashes and shutdown. Police arrested many students on Wednesday after clashes and refused to release them. Clashes between police and students were going on in the main Pulwama market. Witnesses told vov that police used tear smoke shells to chase away students.
