Srinagar: Clouds have started hovering over the skies in Srinagar and other parts of Kashmir. Rains have started again on Wednesday afternoon even after the weatherman in Kashmir had predicted that the weather will remain dry now for one week. Brief spells of rain started in Srinagar especially in Lal Chowk and it has once more disturbed the normal life.

People of Srinagar have been living under the fear of floods in the entire month of April as Kashmir received highest rainfall in this month so far. The Jhelum is still swelled with water and in the Dal Lake the water level is already above the danger mark. Although the authorities have tried to bring down the levels in Dal Lake, but the fresh spells of rain on Wednesday afternoon have brought back fears in the minds of people living within the Lake.
