Clashes amid cordon in Awantipora village
Srinagar: According to the reports from Dangerpora village of Awantipora in Pulwama district, the youth and police were clashing even as security forces and army were trying to lay a cordon of this village with inputs of militant presence there. While police said that they have launched an operation in the area to nab militants, local reports this evening said that protests and clashes were going on. Reports further said loudspeakers were being used by adjacent villages to show their support to the cordoned village. More details are awaited.
