Commuters will have to pay 35 percent toll fee on Srinagar Jammu Highway
Commuters plying on Jammu Srinagar national highway will have to pay more toll plaza, especially Ban Toll Plaza at Jammu –Udhampur stretch. Reports said that National Highway Authorities of India 9NHAI) has increased the toll rates by 35 percent at this stretch.
The people of Jammu have described the move as unfair to pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Katra. However, officials said that they always revise the rates in the month of April every year.
