Army chief assures action to Mehbooba
Srinagar: Army chief during his visit to J&K state assured Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti that he will ensure in future that the good work done by army and civil administration is not spoiled.
During her meeting with army chief Mehbooba Mufti has reportedly taken up the issue of viral video in which a Kashmiri villager is tied with ropes with bonnet of army jeep. Mehbooba has reportedly said that such unfortunate incidents were washing away all the goodwill efforts of the army on the ground in the Kashmir valley.
Meanwhile reports from New Delhi said that army chief after concluding his J&K visit briefed NSA Ajit Doval about the prevailing situation in valley and provided his feedback collected from ground commanders.
