Farooq Abdullah wins Srinagar bypoll
Srinagar: National Conference (NC) chief Farooq Abdullah won the Srinagar bypoll and regained his pride after his defeat from the same constituency in 2014.
Abdullah was ahead by more than 9,000 votes over his closest rival, the PDP’s Nazir Ahmad Khan, according to reports.
A total of nine candidates were in the fray for the bypoll seat.
